Looking for Teaching Artist in Madison for Creative Dance Class

VSA Wisconsin is looking for a teaching artist for creative movement/dance instruction to conduct a class at their Art Center here in Madison. This individual should be able to use adaptive techniques and Universal Design for learning strategies so that participants of all abilities can actively participate and experience success. Instructors can suggest class themes. VSA Wisconsin has hand instruments, floor drums, a piano, electronic keyboard, sound system and also an interactive white board that can be used to supplement instruction.

1:35-2:00 PM Tania Tandias Flamenco & Spanish Dance Co., Flamenco with driving rhythms, intricate footwork & swirling costumes. Capitol Theater, Level I

2:05-2:30 PM Mesoghios Dance Troup, Traditional Greek folk & city folk dances, & a dance referencing the Greek Civil War. Promenade Hall, Level II

Adult class:  5:45-6:45pm / Student class: 7-8 pm
$250 non-VAA students/$200 current VAA students
Payment made in full by the first class will receive a 2.5% discount.
