Springdances: Alchemy features new choreographic works by UWM’s Department of Dance faculty Daniel Burkholder, Maria Gillespie, Dani Kuepper, and Guest Artist Holly Johnston (Los Angeles) with an original sound score by Tim Russell.  Johnston is a California-based choreographer and director of Ledges and Bones Dance Project. Springdances: Alchemy will be presented in the Kenilworth Square East Gallery (formerly Inova). The choreographers explore embodied freedom, agency, and the techniques for the transformation of self and space.
