Milwaukee Ballet is taking dance to the streets with their new initiative, Ballet Beat!

The Milwaukee Ballet is taking dance to the streets with their new initiative, Ballet Beat.

Ballet Beat is an opportunity to engage with the Milwaukee community during the city’s most vibrant season, the summer. Beginning July 7, the Company’s professional dancers have been visiting libraries and community centers throughout the Greater Milwaukee area with free interactive activities and performances.

Milwaukee Ballet proudly presents a free performance to celebrate the finale of Ballet Beat on Thursday, July 27. Watch the international dancers shine in a unique outdoor performance. Soak in Milwaukee’s beautiful summer as you enjoy a world-class dance performance including excerpts from La Bohéme and Swan Lake, as well as invigorating new contemporary work. The finale performance will take place at 7pm at the Peck Pavilion of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. No RSVPs required. First come, first serve.

Ballet Beat is made possible in partnership with UPAF Connect, an outreach program dedicated to increasing the accessibility of the performing arts.
