Both current NDEO members and non-members are eligible to apply for a scholarship. The scholarships are designed for the working dance educator who is looking to continue their education so that they can refine and enhance their current teaching practices.Applicants should demonstrate their interest in and need for continuing education, their teaching philosophy, their plans for applying what they learn, why financial assistance is necessary for their continued education, and the name and contact info of a professional reference.Before submitting an application, it is recommended that applicants review the Scholarship Criteria that can be found on our website at www.ndeo.org/scholarships.
The NDEO Professional Development Scholarship Committee reviews all scholarship applicants and selects award recipients according to the Scholarship Criteria.

Audition for the UWM Dance Department
Saturday, February 17th, 2018
Audition will be held on the UWM campus, Mitchell Hall, and will consist of technique classes (Contemporary, Ballet, African) and performance of a one minute solo. RSVP required, apply below.
DANCE at UW-Milwaukee is committed to the development of skillful and vibrant dance artists and educators in their pursuit of a comprehensive education built upon diverse practices, research, and community engagement. Our innovative curriculum integrates multiple disciplines and somatic practices, creating a learning environment that prioritizes a balance of body and mind knowledge with informed, creative expression.
Our program offers many opportunities to perform, assist faculty in Research Projects funded by the University, and intern with professional dance companies.
UWM Dance offers BFA and BA degrees as well as Minors in Somatics and Dance Performance.
