Fee: $120 (6 sessions)

This unique class has been designed to help dancers “demystify” the relationship between the various elements of flamenco as they pertain to building any choreography.  Starting with soleá, or, “la madre del cante”, students will learn how to seek out and recognize specific parts in the order they naturally occur in typical flamenco compositions, and to recognize how those parts appear in similar order in differing palos. This class is designed to help the advanced-beginning/intermediate level student become more secure with choreographies they learn in classes and workshops as well as choreographies they would like to develop on their own.  This is a participatory class and not a lecture and will also include technique drills and exercises.

*Consent of instructor required.
