Mini Dance Festival 2023

The Wisconsin Dance Council is most appreciative to all who applied to be part of the 2023 Mini Dance Festival!  We also extend much gratitude to the three panelists who adjudicated work on the following guidelines: originality, technical expertise, professionalism, and artistry.  The names and affiliation of each choreographer remained confidential.  Based on the Choreographic Works Criteria and the work of the panel of three professional artists from diverse dance genres, we are thrilled to announce the following curated choreographic works to be selected to participate at the WDC Dance Conference on October 21, 2023 at MYArts in Madison:

  • Apogee by Catey Ott Thompson (solo piece)

  • TCB by Andi Bissen (solo piece)
  • Looking Backward/Moving Forward by Sarah Olson (group piece)
